Susan Loves This Book!

My dear friend Susan, who is a nurse practitioner, so loves Hallmark movies! Especially Hallmark Christmas movies. Finally figuring this out, for the last several Christmases, I gave gifted her with Hallmark mugs, blankets, sweatshirts. She has loved every one of them. I am happy each time that I have given her a gift she likes! This year, I have been looking online for a fun present for Christmas 2023. And then I heard a few weeks ago that she has cancer, again. She is only in her 60s, and has faced and defeated ovarian cancer in the last couple of years. Now she is looking at chemotherapy and other medicines to beat this new cancer. I found this book at Hallmark and added a few extras to make her laugh a bit. Inside jokes about her baked beans recipe… the only baked beans recipe I have ever found delicious. She really enjoyed the Hallmark book and appreciated that I knew just what to send her! This coming week we will see her and her husband as they drive three hours here for their first appointment with the James Cancer Center. I have high hopes for her and that I can keep finding fun things to get her at the Hallmark store! Thank you so much, Hallmark!

Disappointing

There were a couple of good quotes in here, but mostly it was disappointing. It seemed to be written by someone that isn't a true fan of Hallmark. Just slapped together as if putting the Hallmark name on it would make it acceptable. Missed the mark and was a waste of money.

Great books

I love Hallmark books, particularly those having to address Christmas - joy, happiness, family, faith, and love. This is one you will want to add to your own home Library without a doubt. When it's yours, you can read it as often as you like and never have to return it to a 'real' Library. I had to have this one.

Perfectly Fitting

I received this as a birthday gift, I have always been about quotes in life, and I'm a sucker for Hallmark Movies. I read the entire book in 1 day even if it was just quotes, there were many I related too!
