Adorable Figurines-Not Crazy About Train Set

I purchased this train set for my granddaughter on her first birthday, starting at age 1 with the leader and the 1st birthday figurine. While they come with the eyelet to hook them together, they didn’t come with hooks. I went back to my hallmark store where the kind salespeople tried in vain to find them in other boxes. I finally contacted Precious Moments who sent some out. Then I bought the cute, cute 2nd birthday seal for her this year with the same result!! Back to the store, none in any of the boxes, so one was given to me from a totally different set. If I would have known this was the case, I would’ve picked a completely different set of figurines for my granddaughter. They aren’t stand alones because they have the eyelets on them so they look silly by themselves. But it’s a hassle finding the hooks! It’s too bad because the figures are made week and truly adorable!
