Heat Miser Ornament

Perfect for my husband. We love the Christmas show. I'm Mr. Heat Miser. Bought it on sale and will give it to him before this coming Christmas.

Expected more and the battery door does not secure

Looking at the ornament, you would think Heat Miser's hair and the flame in his hand would light up, but nope, only his hair. The battery compartment door does not secure. The screw does nothing, and the compartment door falls off. I had to use a small flat-head screwdriver to push 2 of the batteries down to be able to install the third battery. Overall, the design and the quality are not what is expected for the Hallmark brand. Hallmark used to provide excellent quality ornaments and items, but each year it just gets cheaper and cheaper. FYI, the flat side of the batter faces down.

Battery compartment too small.

Cute ornament but very over priced for what you get. No matter what we tried, could not get all three batteries in the compartment so it does not light up. Definitely not worth the price we paid.

Stop Making Ornaments Requiring Batteries

I agree with the comments about the 1) very tiny battery compartment and 2) the surgical skill required to insert at least 2 of the 3 tiny batteries. Overall the ornament is adorable, overpriced, yet adorable. Once the batteries die, I will not replace them as it truly was hard to get them in. If I would have realized it took 3 tiny batteries and how hard those were to install, I would not have purchased. And if Hallmark gives away ornaments for a review (due to the questions shown with this review), I have not ever received a free ornament from Hallmark to review in the 40 years I have collected.
