The Famous Charlie Brown Shirt

Charlie’s shirt wasn’t always as bright and sunny as we think of it today. The Peanuts gang went through a number of makeovers as Schulz’s style evolved over the years and the gang made their transition from black and white to color. Charlie Brown made his debut in the very first Peanuts comic strip without his famous zig-zag stripe and, although the lovable loser can now be seen sporting bright yellow, Schulz originally intended for his shirt to be red.
