A wise and well-respected Jedi Master, Qui-Gon Jinn trained Obi-Wan Kenobi decades before the rise of the Galactic Empire. On a fateful mission to Tatooine, Jinn discovered young Anakin Skywalker—who he believed to be the prophesied “Chosen One” to bring balance to the Force. Mortally wounded in a duel of the fates against Sith Lord Darth Maul, Qui-Gon’s last request was for Kenobi to train Skywalker.
