Disappointed

I have been buying these since they first came out. I was disappointed to find that this had decreased in size and increased in price. It was actually a miniature.

Ridiculously small

This ornament is so small I am unsure about putting on my tree because I will never find it This is a mini ornament not a full size ornament. If I had paid full price for it I would be livid

Small and lacks usual detail

We look forward to train ornaments every year. This one was smaller than usual, cheaply made and had so little detail. Very generic. Would only pay a couple of bucks for this.

This year Christmas ends in tears for my son.

I ordered online. I never thought to open the box because it was just the same size as normal. I thought perhaps a new size was made. But upon looking at reviews and measurements, it seems that Hallmark has shrunk the size of the Lionel series and dramatically increased the price. My son is sad right now. Even if this is returned, anything else will not match the series, nor will the cars ever be able to be matched up. And every year, when he goes to decorate the tree he will forever be reminded of this disappointment while his brothers will continue to build their series. You promote memories without really paying attention to how your decisions affect them. A series like this is built upon compatibility. You gave no thought to preserving that tradition.
