Mickey Mouse and Disney
Disney has touched the lives of kids of
all ages for nearly a century.
Even Hallmark founder J.C. Hall found himself enchanted by the lovable characters and silly antics of early Disney cartoons, which Hallmark began putting on greeting cards. Decades later, Hallmark artists and writers are still devoted to bringing Disney fun to greeting cards, gifts and more so that kids—and kids at heart—can continue to be touched by the magic of Disney.

Hallmark Gifts with Disney characters

The licensing relationship between Hallmark and Disney
is more than 75 years old.

Four years after Mickey Mouse made his on-screen debut, Disney approached Hallmark about putting his characters on greeting cards. Disney and Hallmark agreed on a contract—one of the first (and oldest) licensing ventures for both companies.
