Beautiful Tropical Tree Ornament
When I saw this one, I immediately added it to my Keepsake Wish List. I am looking forward to adding it to my beautiful Kitchen Tropical Tree this year. The colors will look great with my gold and teal lights and all my other tropical ornaments. The colors and the water fountain give this ornament a beach town feel. Love It...I can't wait until late October to put up my tree and find the perfect spot for this ornament :-) !!.

Bring back Ken Crow!!!!!
Hallmark's big showpiece ornament this year left me utterly disappointed. Despite their track record of creating amazing centerpiece ornaments for 20 years, this one missed the mark. While the design is on trend and cute, tying in with 2021's table top release and with very similar animation, the slight retheme doesn't feel like Christmas. In 22 years of collecting, I have never associated jumping rainbow water fountains with gingerbread or Christmas. Fountains don't usually run at Christmas, as it is cold outside. The music choice, in particular, was a complete disaster. The voiceover is gorgeous, but pairing it with a downright haunted and scary rendition of the classic Christmas song, Sugarplum Fairy, makes no sense at all. The cheerful Santa voiceover atop the terrifying music create a sense of anxiety and impending doom that is uncomfortable and disturbing. It is quite shocking to hear such a scary song to be chosen by any of the creative team at Hallmark for their main ornament this year. I honestly feel like this Santa sounds like an evil villain with this music. It's a real shame that such an expensive ornament has such an unhappy song. The spinning balls look like a water tower and with a giant LED fountain, it all feels very summer-y. It doesn't give me a Christmas vibe at all; instead, it looks like summer on a farm or a milk bottling plant. Hallmark should have selected a better song such as White Christmas, Winter Wonderland, or Let It Snow, as they would be far more generic and marketable songs to use, and also so this ornament could have at the very least sounded beautiful. To all collectors who likes their Christmas stuff to look 'Christmasy' and have good, hallmark vibes, you lost the market for sure. I'm sure it will sell well, but this is not how I want to remember Hallmark. Overall, this ornament is a complete dud, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
