Bought this thinking it just lights up-No, it’s an entire light show! With thunder, lightning, Harry Potter theme music! Great colors and details. Worth every penny.

I didn't intend on making this a tree topper, so I can't speak to that, although it seems pretty massive. If I ever do a Harry Potter tree, I might use it, but I will probably cut out the top of the tree and set it on the flat space left. I use it as a decoration on the counter instead. Everyone that has seen it has absolutely loved it. I took it to work and showed my coworkers and the kids (child care center). I love the changing lights and the theme song. Two minor "complaints" for the remote being finicky. You have to push on the back battery cover as you push the front button for it to work. And because I would love if you could get it to play the storm noises besides just when you plug it in. But those are easily overlooked. All in all I love it and am debating whether it's going to be a year round decoration, or just Christmas. Either way, I plan to add to it with character ornaments and other buildings.

A bit too heavy to top my tree, but I set it up on a bookshelf with the linked Harry, Ron and Hermione ornaments and have great fun listening to dialogue from the first film. When the dialogue is over, the castle and ornaments cycle through different colors. A great item!

This tree topper is beautiful; the picture does not do it justice! I bought it for my married daughter, and now my husband wants one! It also has three characters you can hook up to it, and they look and sound amazing.
