Smalltown sisters, Sara (Scottie Thomson) and Lily (Madeline Zima) lead two different lives: Sara is a successful, Los Angeles attorney, Lily is a local art teacher who never left home. But when their father unexpectedly dies, Sara returns to Virginia to help their mother (Jane Seymour) settle his estate. Through the guidance of their father's spirit, the women finally discover what being a family truly means.
