Angels among us...
Our granddaughter, Jenny (32 days old today), has been in the NICU at Loma Linda since she was born, needing surgery to correct three separate heart defects among other issues. While waiting for her to get strong enough for the surgery, we thought she needed an angel watching over her. We stopped in the Hallmark on Washington and 42nd Ave in Palm Desert. My wife explained what we were looking for, and the two ladies behind the counter went out of their way to help us find the perfect angel. From several choices we chose this one. It now hangs on her "crib" in the NICU, keeping watch over our fragile little bundle. The nurses who are doing the caregiving are angels, as were the two helpers at Hallmark. (They even asked permission to pray for Jenny...!) Still awaiting surgery, we know this guardian angel is doing its job.
