embarrassing meeting moments (or…times we wish we’d had a camera!)

OR…like, today in OUR meeting, when lauren (our way-cool animator) almost fell over all the way backwards in her chair. ooooh, were we wishing we’d had a camera! maybe if we ask her nicely, she’ll re-enact it for us. c’mon, lauren, pleeeease, we were laughing WITH you!!

one word: ewwwwww!
there are a few certain very icky things we have noticed lately that we’d like to share. these things have to do with good manners. or, in these little cases, NOT having good manners!! like that dude we saw in the restroom who did NOT wash his hands!! or that dudette who sneezed all over the whole wide world without covering her mouth!!! oooooh, the humanity!! people, protect your M&M jars!!!!!

our ALL-DAY meeting story
on monday we had to go to a meeting with bob&co. that lasted all day long. we’re not even kidding. we woke up for lunch, which was YUMMY. especially the fudgey torte we had for dessert. oh, was it dreamy! we weren’t supposed to take photos, but you know us…we CAN be a little sneaky! we were able to snap a couple quick pics of our good friends ira and jack before and after the meeting. we would tell you more about all the corporatey things that were discussed during the day, but we don’t remember anything past the boss telling us where the coffee pot was located.

our special friend beth was reminiscing with us about the goooood time we had in maine this summer when we spent a week with her and her mom, doris, in a cottage on the beach!! that’s doris in the picture below. isn’t she cute?? (answer: yes!!!) doris, we hear you’ve been a little under the weather, and we hope you’re feeling lots and lots bether!!! to master mcg, chelsea wants the whole world to know you are her hero! why? because you can make her smile and give her big loads of confidence! wow, master mcg, anyone who can make people smile is a hero to us!! and biiiig congrats on getting into the black belt hall of fame!! WOW-WOW-WOW!!
our friend lilly, who is 11 years old, has a very special hero. it’s her dad!!! he went to iraq for a whoooole year to serve in the army reserves. she’s sooo glad he’s home, and so are we!! thanks for all you do, lilly’s dad!

suh-weeeet summer memories!
this morning at coffee we were reminiscing about some of the good times we had this summer. like when john, paul, alexa, risa and tim took us on a sunset cruise around the lake in ossipee (that name makes us giggle), new hampshire. it was paul’s birthday (remember, paul?). anyway, we stayed up all night eating cake and telling stories. the next day, when we went out on the lake, we all discovered that leftover cake, a rocky-rolly boat ride, and yoyo do NOT mix.

yelloooo, may i help you?
bob is sooooo busy making new cards and stuff right now that we’ve been doing him a favor by answering his phone. the problem is, WE are so busy with coffee breaks and snack times (aka “research”) that we really don’t have a moment to spare! so we decided we need to hire someone who can take calls and give bob his messages. bob says this guy is a real bear. but WE noticed that he makes coffee just the way we like it. sttttttrrrrrong!!!! he’s hired.
