we made some SUPER friends!
when we saw all the superheroes at comic-con, it made us wish that WE could fly and leap tall buildings and stuff like that. we can’t. but we have friends who can! and that’s even better ‘cause they’ll do all the hard work for us!! and we can just keep drinkin’ coffee and eatin’ donuts!

hiiiii, diva and john from comic-con!!
there we were, walking along seeing the sights at comic-con, and all of a sudden some very niiiiice people stopped us! they recognized us from our e-cards – can you BELIEVE our luck???!! it was diva and her dad, john. we showed them where the hallmark area was so diva could get some of our plushies, and now we are, like, super-good friends. right, diva and john???
next year when we run into them, we’ll say, “hey, diva and john, remember that time we first met at comic-con last year? oooh, that was a good day, wasn’t it?” YEAH!!

fun at comic-con!!
ooooh, did we ever have a good time at comic-con! we made soooo many new friends that we just have to show them off!! this week we’ll show you some of our new bestest friends. and then we’ll tell you about the whole big adventure in the next newsletter!
these are the nicest storm troopers we ever met! oops. storm troopers don’t really like to be known as nice. they’re TOUGH WARRIORS!! they were very busy going off to fight important battles in their super galactic empires, but before reporting for duty they took a quick pic with us!

oh, you’ve never seen birthday wishes like this!
you just have to see (and send, send, send!) this totally super-fantabulous e-card we made from one of the songs on our latest cd with the very famous parry gripp! hey, try to read that sentence again without taking a breath! we just tried it and turned almost as blue as piddles! bob said his high school english teacher would definitely make us rewrite it. definitely. so we asked bob how long ago he was in high school, and he went and got coffee without us. why, bob, why????

the gang’s all happy!
we couldn’t resist showing off just a little of what we got in this super-unbelievable cool box from the famous mr. m. piddles was trying to tell us she had an allergic reaction to her vegetables, but we’re pretty sure those are wax lips. (she opened the box before we could see what all was in it.) thanks for the fun, mr. m! more to come later on what else was special about this box!! (hint: it’s allll about picasso. apparently, he was a very famous artist.)

we have the coughies…
the coughies are making our throats all scratchy and sometimes our voices even go away!! we had to point to the kind of coffees we wanted at the café today. of course the niiiiice café lady felt sorry for us, and when we whispered to her how much her double chocolate mochas help our throats, she promised us free refills today. we felt we should warn her that we’ll probably be pretty sick tomorrow, too.
so how will we shout our shout-outs!??
we would like to sing happy birthday to some super-important celebrationers (see our birthday peeps below), but our voices won’t work!!! so we got some help! have a look and listen!

thanks for being kind to critters, daisy! a summer of niiiice story…
our friend daisy is so niiiiiice to animals! when she was in second grade, she had a bake sale and raised $175 for her local animal shelter! and when she heard that someone in her town would be tearing down a habitat for turtles, she wrote a letter to try to convince them to stop! she even got in the newspaper!! she always asks people to stop for turtles when they're in the road so they can be moved to a safe place. she has a heart of gold, people, goooooold!!! no wonder we think she's so fantabulous!

we are! the 4th of july is coming, and we're making our grocery list. so far our list has hot dogs, ice cream, potato chips, ice cream, soda, ice cream, buns, ice cream, and a few other things we'll need for our picnic. (we hope bob doesn't forget the ice cream!!)
