Accounting/Finance
Using analysis, goal setting and progress monitoring, the finance division formulates long- and short-term financial goals for the company, with a concentration on long-term growth strategies. We oversee fiscal plans and report on fiscal data, while providing financial decision support within all areas of Hallmark. Successful accounting/finance candidates bring a high financial aptitude, have strong analytical skills, are able to communicate with all levels of the organization and are highly detail-oriented.
Operations/Engineering
From graphic technology and manufacturing to distribution and retail, our associates oversee the most vital aspects of day-to-day operations. Responsibilities transcend disciplines and move with fluidity along the entire product continuum. Our engineers have frequent opportunities to show initiative and demonstrate creativity as they design, develop and coordinate projects and take the lead in problem-solving assignments, resulting in the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost. Successful operations and engineering professionals are always seeking a "new and better way," are able to take on challenges and develop a solution, can communicate effectively and can manage resources and processes effectively.
Information Technology
Our IT professionals partner with product and business development teams to develop new-to-the-world solutions. We also work with retail stores to streamline distribution and improve their technology functions. Projects across the Hallmark business often require technical expertise, and we are there to collaborate with cross-functional business teams, analyze and define requirements, and ensure successful project execution every step of the way. Success in this Hallmark role requires an understanding and aptitude for many technologies, the ability to work across all levels of the company, can manage resources and has the ability to learn new technologies.
Sales/Service
From building regional marketing plans to developing individual store advertising, our sales division keeps product circulating onto the shelves – and into the consumers' hands. Additionally, our Customer Solutions Center provides a vital service as the primary link between our retailers and Hallmark corporate headquarters. The successful sales or service representatives will have the ability to build relationships with retailers, have strong communication, problem solving, analytical and decision making skills. A strong results orientation is essential.
