Great Keepsake
I bought this as a keepsake for my granddaughter's first Christmas last year when she was about 6 1/2 months old. She is now 18 months old and she still really loves this story book. Incredibly, the book has remained intact and the batteries have not worn out as she listens to it A LOT! It was very simple to set up up with my voice. Now that she is getting a little older she will "learn" from listening the story too. This was a great value (esp. with the Hallmark coupon I had) and I will continue buy other recordable storybooks for her.

Great Gift for Dementia Patients!
I bought this book, recorded and then sent it to my Mom last Christmas. Mom lives 3,000 miles away back east in an Assisted Living Home. My mother doesn't remember me or anyone else but it was good medicine for me to be able to record a loving message along with the Love Story of the ages.....and Mom just loved the book! My sister said it couldn't have been a more perfect gift and that Mom goes through the book all the time listening to me telling the story of Christ's birth. I am already looking for a new story to send her this year. Perhaps this will be a good idea for others whose family members suffer with similar illnesses.
