disappointed
I went through three Jingle dogs last Christmas. It still doesn't work right. Jingle doesn't respond to all the phrases and only responds to the other phrases on and off. My daughter is 6 and just sad that he doesn't always answer. We watched the DVD and Jingle is suppose to respond. He responded to less than half of the phrases and my daughter kept asking, "why isn't Jingle answering?" :( I've contacted Hallmark, but they have yet to do anything for me.

Disappointed with poor/weak wiring construction.
Bought 3 Jingle Dogs last Christmas for grandchildren. They all loved them! But after 3 - 4 mos. of play, 2 out of 3 the wiring connected to the ear broke loose from button inside the ear. Could not return to store because it was out of stores return policy. Called Hallmark and just got an apology, with no other suggestion for help on the problem.
Jingle the dog is a cute idea.........but will not last after repeated use in time. Then will only become a non-talking stuffed animal.
I am thinking the 3rd jingle dog that still works is only because that grandchild does not play with it often. I thought I was buying a good quality toy. Very disappointed in wasting my money! Check the reviews on this product before buying, Many have same complaint. I wish I had before buying.

Great toy
We bought this toy for our daughter last year, she loved it and still does. I took it to her Kindergarten class last year, and when I read the book the kids were in awe. I even had parents come up and ask me where I got it. Of course I told them Hallmark :)
We went to a Hallmark store about a month ago and saw Bell. My daughter was so excited, so she will probably get Bell too.
Thanks for such a fun toy that kids (especially my daughter) love.

5 and 2 Year-Old Love This!
Nana brought this to us for Christmas and the kids have loved it all year long. So happy to see more books and a friend are in store for this year! and Jingle is just so cute!

just found out there are more books!
Last year Santa brought this cute puppy to our house for our 4 year old daughter. She loves him! The one & only story we have (just found out more are avabile) never gets old. So putting more books on the christmas list. Ever her brothers 11 & 13 hang arround when I read this book. We don't have a cd or app just the plain book & puupy. Thinking about getting more friends, reading reviews & found out not many have been written. So, thought I'd write one to tell others how much the whole family enjoys Jingle.

Year round use!
My grandson was only 9 months old when Jingle first appeared in stores, and then in our home. I had packed the book and toy away after Christmas, but my grandson immediately noticed he was missing, and I had to unpack Jingle! Since then, I have collected the second book and now Bell and the extra book with both. My grandson is now 2 1/2 and he still loves to hear the books (over and over)... so it has been nice to have the auto-read available when my voice gives out!
I do miss the Kindle app. I didn't notice it was gone until just this month. But I guess more folks have iPads and such...
