Under the Same Moon My children wanted to send this book to their grandfather for his birthday. It was a bit touchy to record, but my boys were able to read and record. Super cute! I needed for my husband to record this I bought this last book year for my husband . . .Well really for me for my husband to record his voice before he passed away . . .I felt that it would be such a comfort to hear his words but sadly he could not record it for some reason . . . Perhaps it would be too sad for him . . Well today is his birthday and I was so hoping to be able to find the words from this book that I returned to the store . . .I had purchased it because it was the one that made my cry . . .It was so beautiful. Thank you for posting the words . . .I needed to hear them so much today . . .And I cried again but crying is OK . . .His birthday March 27th 2013 and if you can believe it . .A beautiful full moon. . . . Under the Same Moon It's hard to order a book online when there's no synopsis or preview of any sort. After previewing the book in the store I selected it to record for my children to listen to while my husband & I are away from them for several days. It would also be appropriate for grandparents to give. While many of these books seem to be geared towards grandparents as the readers, I think this is a great book for parents to give when they're away from their sweet babies. Here's the contents of the book (and the illustrations are simple & cute by the way). I hope this helps someone: I see the moon and the moon sees me, and the moon sees somebody I'd like to see. Please let the light that shines on me shine on the ones I love. I see the stars twinkle soft and bright, winking a promise to me tonight: they'll keep watch while you sleep tight and smile on you with love. I see the clouds drifting softly by as they carry these wishes across the sky. I hope they bring sweet dreams tonight to the precious ones I love. I hear the wind as it moves through the trees, crossing the distance between you & me. It slips in your window, soft as can be, and tucks you in with love. I hear the crickets and the frog-song rise as their sleepy serenade fills the moonlit skies. It drifts all around as you close your eyes and sings to you with love. I hear an owl hoot "who who who?" asking who I love and who loves me, too. I smile as I answer, "It's you, you, you," you are the one I love. Wonderful Keepsake for Grandchildren! At the age of almost 80, I have a bonus five-year-0ld granddaughter who lives 35 miles from me. With my failing eyesight, it is difficult for me to read to her when she visits, and the recordable books are ideal. I can take my time reading each page, and my granddaughter loves to listen to the books before bedtime. This is the third recordaboe book I have done for her. The only thing I had a small problem with, because of my sight, was finding out later that I had skipped a couple of pages, and having to undo the little screws on the record lock and fill in the skipped pages. This is not only ideal for grandparents, but would be wonderful for a child whose military parent is deploying overseas. February 28, 2013

Under the Same Moon My husband and I recorded this book for our new Granddaughter who lives very far away from us. We wanted her to know how special she is and to hopefully help her recognize our voices as she grows. Our plan is to buy a couple more and do the same. The distance is hard and hopefully this helps fill a bit of the gap, between visits. February 2, 2013
