doesnt work after only a month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I purchased this bear for my son because I thought it was so cute and loved the idea of recording mine and my eleven year old daughters voice for him to hear every time he hugged it well that did not last long it stopped working only a month after I bought it he only got to hear the message about 7 times he still loves his bear "BLUE" but it is a shame I paid that much money for a bear . I guess I will just have to go to build a bear from now on :(

Very Disappointed!i
I bought this bear for my grandson who lives in NYC. Since he's a newborn I wanted him to hear my voice and in time recognize it. I made my recording but you could barely hear it. I ended up speaking very loud, but it still was scratchy and still barely audible. I ended up returning it to the store and exçhanging it for a another one. When I again recorded my voice, it still was scratchy and hard to hear. Keeping it but not happy with the quality of recorder. Would not recommend.

Love this Bear!
My grandson loves to have me cuddle with him and hum to him while he is going to sleep. He has done this with me since he was a baby. He is now 7 years old and I now live 3 states away, so I bought this bear and hummed into it and it recorded beautifully. Then sent it to him for his 7th birthday. It was a hit and now his older sisters each want one too.
Great gift from grandmothers!

Hug-a-Bear not very good recording capabilities
I got a Hug-a-Bear for my two grandsons and neither of them record properly. The recording of my voice is very low and patchy although the original recording (at the store) was crystal clear. I changed the batteries and tried various things to get it to work properly but with no luck. I also got a Hug Bunny for my granddaughter and it recorded beautifully but neither Hug-a-Bear was any good. Of course, my grandsons could faintly hear their Grannie speaking and loved the bear itself, so wouldn't let me take it back to the store. VERY DISAPPOINTING since they are moving away in the summer and all I have to leave them with is a sketchy Grannie voice talking to them.

Best gift ever!
I got this lovely bear for my 1 year old niece and she loved it. I see her almost every week but i always miss her and when we are together she never wants to leave my side. she gets so upset when I leave so I went to hallmark and got this bear for her! my sister says she almost never put it down! which makes me very happy even if my sister is sick of hearing me all day!

Such A Wonderful Idea!!!
My son is Autistic and loves Grandma and Grandpa, but they live in Fla and we are in NJ. Everytime he talks with them on the phone they laugh and giggle and he always ends with a big kiss. Well, they recorded themselves doing just that, as if he were on the phone with them and ended the recording with a big kiss; even making the kissing noise he does. My son even at 20 years old had the BIGGEST smile I've even seen Christmas morning, hugging that Bear. Such a big hit!!!! I want one for myself.

Until We Hug Again
My nephew, who is 3, lives 9 hours away from me. So I am unable to see him as much as I want. I recently gave him this bear for Christmas and he Loves it! It makes me so Happy that I can be part of his every day life even when I'm far away!
