What it is

The triumphant story of Brad Cohen, a man who overcomes incredible obstacles to become a gifted teacher, is inspired by a true story. When he was growing up, Brad (Jimmy Wolk) started making funny noises—all the time. Only Brad— and his supportive mother (Patricia Heaton)—knew he couldn’t control it. He was teased, misunderstood and punished for disrupting class. By the time he is diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome, Brad had learned to hate school. When an understanding school principal offers encouragement, amazingly Brad decides to become a teacher—the teacher he never had. But who in their right mind would put someone with Tourette’s in front of the class? After 24 schools turned him down, Brad refused to give up. Discover what happens when one school finally gives him a chance. Brad Cohen’s resilience and determination changed his life. His story may change yours.

Facing challenges Each of us faces our own challenges that may get in the way of our dream. Front of the Class is a great, inspiring story of not letting what others see as a handicap preventing a dream coming true. Great for all ages, but especially teenagers who are striving to find where they fit. May 9, 2013
Clean and Encouraging! This movie is not heavy on the romance, but is big on trying your best to accomplish your dreams. Brad Cohen, a man with tourette syndrome, is determined to teach despite almost all odds against him. He finds out -in the end- that his syndrome is actually the secret to his success. This is a true story that encourages us all to keep pressing forward despite our difficulties toward our goals. Hallmark, please make it more available in your stores! May 1, 2013
GREAT MOVIE This is a great movie and also inspirational to all.....my son watched this movie and said....."hey mom he is kinda like me" This movie helped my son by enforcing that he too could make it!!!!! Sometimes he finds it hard because he is disabled and also has faced the same kind of bullying and discrimination. :( I also believe that this is a great movie for adults too. I just wished there were more people like the principal (when he was young), mom and his co-workers (as the adult). March 21, 2013
Front of the Class I looked everywhere for this moive. My husband and I saw the movie several years ago, and it instantly became our favorite Hallmark movie. Whenever we go to the store, I look for it on the racks, but without success. It occurred to me to just order it for him for Christmas. It arrived quickly after I put in the order, arrived in excellent condition, and sure enough, it was worth the wait. We love it. It's based on a true story of a very charismatic man with Tourette's who overcame incredible challenges trying to become a teacher. I would say this is a "must see" story - very inspiring. Front of the Class Such an awesome movie! A must see for all ages. So inspiring and thought provoking. It makes you think twice before labeling or "judging" others and to be more compassionate. If this young man could accomplish what he has with what he's been through and still is...what's our excuse? January 30, 2013
